Are old clothes really better made?
Often, yes – especially compared to fast fashion, which is often only intended for one season. Vintage fashion tells a different story: it was made from durable materials, carefully crafted, and has already lasted for many years. Every piece carries memories within it – and is waiting to experience new ones with you.

At Zürich Vintage, good quality means that the piece is immediately wearable, without obvious defects, with only slight traces of its previous life. Fair quality means that there may also be small, lovingly repaired areas that are barely noticeable. And if a piece has larger flaws, I describe and photograph them honestly and take them into account in the price – because sometimes it is precisely these imperfections that make it unique.

I carefully inspect every item, repair it if necessary, and wash it or have it cleaned (professional leather cleaning). Since I use a special hygiene detergent, I recommend washing the clothes again at home with your own favorite detergent – simply to be completely safe.
